Columbus, Ohio – As the busy spring remodeling season begins, Improveit Home Remodeling proudly announces a year-long celebration of its 35th anniversary!
The fun and engaging “Experience Improveit” campaign will showcase the multifacted experiences Improveit offers, from meeting our team in person at home shows and events, to experiencing a five-star home improvement project installed by trained professionals, to the opportunity to experience working at Improveit as the company grows its high-performing culture throughout the region.

Celebrating 35 years of business excellence, the Experience Improveit campaign captures the essence of the company’s commitment to providing not just home improvements, but unparalleled experiences. Whether engaging with customers at the kitchen table, local events, or through the expertise of trusted staff, Improveit ensures every interaction is marked by a 5-star experience.
“Experience Improveit is a relfection of our commitment to a 5-star experience at every turn,” says owner Seth Cammeyer. “I’ve made my direct phone number available to customers since the day we started Improveit so they can contact me with questions or concerns at any time. After 35 years’ worth of phone calls and conversations, we’ve learned quite a bit about what’s truly important to our customers.”
What it all comes down to, Cammeyer says, is giving people the experience they deserve. “Our customers are looking for the experience of a friendly, thoughtful meeting to discuss their projects; the experience of trained installers and service professionals who know the ins and outs of every product; and the experience of knowing they can pick up the phone any time – even after 35 years – and that their concerns will be taken care of by a team that really appreciates them.”
Celebrating a Legacy of Continuous Improvement
In 1989, Improveit opened its doors in Columbus, Ohio, as “Ohio Energy Corp.” offering energy-efficient window replacement services. The subsequent years saw founders Seth Cammeyer and Brian Leader earn acknowledgement of their professionalism, business excellence, and best practices with their induction into the industry’s prestigious Remodeling Big50 in 2003, while developing what would become the Improveit brand.
Just a few years later, Improveit expanded into bathroom remodeling in 2006, followed shortly by an era that would test the entire remodeling industry: the Great Recession. But with sophisticated technologies in place, a commitment to value-packed remodeling services, and a dedication to the company’s lifetime warranty promise, Improveit not only weathered the storm, but emerged stronger.

Post-recession, Improveit continued to grow, expanding into Dayton, Cincinnati, Louisville, and Lexington. Despite disruptions caused by the Covid-19 pandemic in 2020, Improveit prioritized health and safety while achieving unprecedented business and employee growth.
