Accessible Walk-In Showers Make Life Easier for Tipp City Couple
With Health in mind, tipp city shower remodel Focused on safety
When Judy Warner and her husband first looked into remodeling their bathroom, they knew they needed a reliable team who could handle the challenge. Mr. Warner’s mobility and bathing assistance needs called for walk-in showers that eliminated dangerous bathtubs and offered more safety with seats, grab bars, and other helpful features.
After reaching out to several contractors, Judy and her husband, who was known for his high standards, chose Improveit for their first shower installation in 2022. It turned out to be the perfect choice – the Warners connected with Improveit again in 2023 for their second shower remodel!
Improveit Installer finds creative solution for tipp city walk-in shower
The Warner’s first accessible walk-in shower replacement wasn’t without its obstacles. “We made all our product selections during the design meeting, but ran into some problems when the shower was being installed,” Judy recalled. When removing the original shower from the house built in 1990, Improveit installer Todd Noffke discovered that the existing plumbing couldn’t be moved, and the new shower wouldn’t fit.
“Todd came up with great solutions,” Judy said. A modification to the project called for a slightly narrower shower base and a custom-built ledge that wrapped around the existing plumbing. “The ledge is actually perfect – I can put everything on it,” Judy said, thrilled with the outcome. Though the project took a bit longer than expected, the results exceeded the Warners’ expectations and thanked Todd for his creative problem-solving that made it possible.
Changing Needs Call for a Second Accessible shower
Years later, when it came time to remodel their second bathroom, Judy didn’t hesitate to call Improveit again. Unfortunately, by this time, Mr. Warner was battling Alzheimer’s. Judy acknowledges the accessible walk-in shower, grab bars, and hand-held showerhead as helpful features for a caregiver. Though Mr. Warner memory declined, Judy says, “he liked it the new shower, and that made it easier.”
Local Service Supports Tipp City Shower remodel
What stood out to Judy even more was Improveit’s customer service. After the installation, she received a follow-up call from Improveit’s customer service team at just the right moment. “It was perfect timing,” she said. “I told them we were happy, but that we had a small issue with one of the shower doors. I wasn’t upset about it – these things happen. And they scheduled a time to come out right away and take care of it just like that!”
Judy’s trust in the team was so high that she told us she recommended Improveit to her neighbors too! The Warners’ story is a testament to the thoughtful craftsmanship and dedicated service that Improveit team members bring to each project, ensuring every homeowner gets a custom solution that truly meets their needs. We’re grateful to Judy for trusting our teams with both of her Tipp City shower remodel projects, and look forward to providing a lifetime of service and help on any future needs!
