The White & Gray Kitchen of Their Dreams
This Pataskala kitchen went from builder basic to white and brighT
When Sue and Terry Ogle were ready to update their Pataskala kitchen, they knew exactly who to call. After completing two window replacements, a bathroom remodel, and a sliding glass door installation, the Ogles confidently called their friends at Improveit for the next update to their beautiful home.
“We’ve done a lot of projects with Improveit, and it’s because we trust the company and the quality,” Terry says. “I do a lot of work around the house myself, so when I hire another company I ask a lot of questions. I’ve always gotten good answers from Improveit. I’m a no-nonsense guy, and we really appreciate the integrity of the Improveit team.”
Choosing Pataskala Kitchen Refacing vs Remodleing
Initially, Sue says the couple considered removing a wall and expanding their kitchen into the home’s existing dining room. But in considering the excessive cost, mess, and time associated with a full-scale kitchen remodel, they knew refacing was the right option.
“I’ve always wanted a white kitchen, and I love everything that we picked out,” Sue says, noting that the existing cabinets were in good condition, and really just needed a facelift. They also replaced the outdated laminate countertops with quartz for the bright white and gray kitchen of their dreams.
Special Features for this White & Gray Kitchen
In addition to refacing the cabinet fronts in white, the Improveit team replaced all of the doors and drawer fronts in the Ogles’ kitchen with new Shaker-style doors, plus satin nickel hardware for the finishing touch. A Calacatta Idillio quartz countertop was added for an almost-all-white look.
Behind the cabinet doors are some fun new features. “I love the cupboard that we added to keep the trash cans hidden,” Sue says. This pull-out accessory is inside a new cabinet that the Ogle’s added to the end of the existing run. They also opted to replace the cabinet above with a wider 2-door cabinet to maintain the kitchen’s symmetry – with one special difference. “The glass front on the new upper cabinet is probably my favorite thing!” Sue says.
The Improveit team is thrilled to have another beautiful project completed in the Ogle’s home. More importantly, we’re honored to be able to call them customers for life! We’ll look forward to being on-hand for service, advice, and a long-lasting relationship down the road. Thank you, Sue and Terry!
