A Hexagon Shower Tile Design Brings Style and Function to the Bathroom
When Cindy & David Booth were ready to move forward with their Louisville shower remodel, they wanted to update their bathroom’s style as much as its function. The old tub-shower combo was dated and dingy, the basic showerhead didn’t allow for any bathing flexibility, and the tub was becoming a challenge to step in and out of.
When Cindy called Improveit to schedule a design consultation, she let the team know that she and David wanted to learn about options for walk-in showers for better accessibility, and the Improveit team delivered!

Together, David and Cindy sat down with an Improveit design consultant in their home to discuss everything that wasn’t working in their old shower space, and all the features they wanted to include in their updated shower. This included:
- A shower base that would be easy and safe to step in and out of
- Grab bars and a bench seat for additional security
- A hand-held showerhead for better accessibility
- A fun shower design to bring the bathroom to life
With their selections made, ordered to size, and checked for quality, the installation team was able to make the Booth’s Louisville tub to shower conversion come to life in just two days! This included constant communication between the homeowners and the installers, including giving David the opportunity to specify the height and location at which he wanted the grab bars and hand-held showerhead installed.
