Impressive Corner Garden Tub Remodel

Ted and Wanda Davis used their master bathroom remodel as a chance to really upgrade their home’s style – and what a difference it made!  

The Davises’ Waldo, Ohio home featured an outdated and oversized garden tub in the master bathroom. Unlike most garden tubs that are used purely for soaking, this unit was outfitted as a garden tub shower combo. As a result, the space got a lot of use, but not without difficulty. With wide sides, sharp corners, and no grab bars outside the tub, climbing in and out of the large tub was inconvenient and potentially hazardous. Heavy use also left the tub difficult to keep clean over time. 

When it was time to upgrade, the Ted and Wanda did a full 180 in their bathroom. The bulky tub was removed completely, and the couple made sleek and modern design choices while taking advantage of Improveit’s easy-to-clean materials. Starting with a center-draining white shower base, the Davises chose a large-format Roman block pattern for their shower walls in our charmeuse color – a clean and simple design. Matte black shower fixtures, grab bars, and shower enclosure framing add an extra touch of class and contrast.

We love the design choices they made, and can’t get over the impressive before-and-after!
