Isaac and Isabella Garcia are just the second owners of their 1962 Fairfield, Ohio home. It’s clear from the charming porch railing and carriage detail on the clean, white shutters that the long-time original owner cared greatly for the home’s curb appeal. The Garcias do too – and are also keenly aware of the importance of high-quality windows.

When the couple called Improveit shortly after purchasing the home in 2021, their main concern was the condition of the narrow windows along the garage, as well as the five basement hopper windows around the foundation. Upon inspection, the Improveit team found that the windows were victims of multiple problems that called for replacement, including broken glass, stuck cranks, and deteriorated frames. Original to the house, the aluminum single-pane windows were truly at the end of their useful life.

Fast Window Installation

With a fast, single-day installation, the Improveit team replaced all seven broken, inefficient windows with new Performax54 windows. The basement windows were replaced with easy-to-open hopper windows, while the old double-awning windows in the garage were replaced with sleek sliders. Each window features dual-paned glass for year-round energy efficiency, locking mechanisms for security, and full screens to allow for ventilation while keeping pests and debris from getting inside.
