Pickerington resident Alan Lancaster has made at least one major improvement to his home every year since he purchased it in 2013, and energy-efficiency updates have been high on that project list.
“I was churning out some pretty high energy bills,” Alan says. After some diligent research, he chose ImproveIt to replace all the windows around the home with high-efficiency windows featuring T-Core insulated frames, smart SolarTech glass, and industry-exclusive SolarGold spacers. Budgeting wisely by replacing a few windows at a time, Alan says his heating and air conditioning bills have been slashed since completing the project.
“What impressed me the most was when one of the installers pulled me aside and said, ‘do you realize there was no insulation around your windows all this time?'” Alan remembers. “They were construction-grade windows and whoever put them in didn’t bother to insulate around the openings. My ImproveIt installer smiled and said, ‘don’t worry, they’re insulated now.’ That, and the level of quality of the whole crew, told me that I was really working with a reputable company.”
After completing his windows, he also updated his bathroom!
