Hall Bathroom Remodel Lets Pickerington Teacher Reclaim Her Space

Improveit helped angie make her bathroom remodel ideas a reality with beautiful finishes and fixutres

Empty nesters Mark and Angie Brickley love their condo community so much they moved in twice! When an updated home came on the market directly across the street from their first condo, they took advantage of the opportunity, but knew that some remodeling still needed to be done.

“One of the big things was to update the upstairs hall bathroom,” says Angie, a teacher in the area. With the right design, she knew it would be a space for her to claim as her own. “I go to work very early in the morning, and I like to use a separate bathroom so I can get ready without disturbing Mark or our dog,” she says. “We knew Improveit would do a great job, and now I’m absolutely in love with it!”

Pickerington Bath remodel brings design skills home

Working with Improveit for their Pickerington bath remodel was an easy decision for Angie and Mark. Not only do they love the products and lifetime warranty, but Mark is a veteran design consultant for the company.

“I joined Improveit in January of 2020,” he says. “What attracted me to Improveit was the longevity of the company being a local business and the opportunity to meet new folks and make new friends every day. In-home sales is a lot of fun. It’s a wonderful feeling to knock on someone’s door and know that you have a solution for them.”

With his design consultant training, Mark says he took Angie through the same process he uses with every customer he meets. “He had the actual product samples that I could touch and feel,” Angie says, “but he also used the Design Studio on the tablet, so I could see our selections come together in the room. I could see what the shower walls were going to look like, and the countertop, the base cabinet. I got to play around with it, which was so awesome.”

Wit her design selections made, Improveit’s installation team brough Angie’s vision to life. The white and gray color combination features Calcutta marble shower walls with a Roman Block tile pattern, and matching Calcutta shower shelves. Oil-rubbed bronze fixtures include the tub spout and showerhead, a grab bar, towel bar, and two-handle sink faucet.

The vanity features a special layout that Mark suggested as a way to help Angie make better use of available counter space. Rather than placing the sink in the center of the vanity, the Alaska White top was cut to have the sink placed off-center to the left side of the vanity, freeing up the right side for makeup, hair tools, and other necessities as needed.

“The installers were great,” Angie says. “They became like family because you have them in your home for a number of hours each day. They were very helpful and explained things very well. I can’t say enough. They took such good care of my house – and I’m pretty nitpicky!”

Angie assured us that her glowing review doesn’t just stem from Mark’s employment with Improveit. “It’s not just because my husband works for them,” she says. “Mark is very good at what he does, but with Improveit, it’s more than that. Professional from top to bottom. Everybody really cared about what they were doing, and I really appreciated that.”
