Karolyn Malsi and her husband Richard knew that replacing their windows would give them a more energy efficient, comfortable home. But one of the most important factors in choosing Improveit for their Northern Kentucky-area window replacement project was the warranty. 

 “We had researched windows for a while, and we knew we wanted to work with a company that would help us transfer the warranty when we were ready to move,” Karolyn says. The Malsis had never replaced the windows in their Hebron, Kentucky home, just south of Cincinnati. The couple met with other window replacement companies during their research, but Karolyn says a fully transferrable, lifetime warranty gave them the confidence to choose Improveit.  

 The day of the Malsis’ window installation, the high temperature barely reached freezing. Thankfully, the couple wasn’t left out in the cold by having their windows replaced in the middle of winter. Karolyn says she was impressed by how quickly the installation went, and that the improvement in their home comfort is noticeable. “Our comfort has been much better,” she says. “We’ve been able to keep the thermostat at least two degrees lower than usual for this time of year, and we’re not having to pile on a million blankets. It’s really warm in the house!”  

In addition to keeping their home much warmer, the Malsis‘ new windows give them expanded views to the back yard. By choosing windows with no grids, Karolyn says she can easily see everything on their property. “We have a wooded area in the back and I wanted to be able to see that without any interruptions,” she says. Karolyn couldn’t be more pleased with the results. “I can see more of the yard. It just opens up the whole picture.”
