What are the Top Spring Colors this Season?
Every season brings a new opportunity to look at color through a fresh lens. This spring, our designers have collected a warm spring color palette incorporating golden tones that give the feeling of spring sunshine. Even traditionally “cool” green, blue, and purple wall colors can take on a warm cast with the right accessories.

These five top spring colors come from Sherwin Williams, and are the foundation of our 2025 Spring Mood Boards. Take the inspiration and run with it! Here are five unique places to start:

Soap Up the Sun:
Ready to embrace spring warmth? Go tone-on-tone with a deep gold wall color and classy brushed gold fixtures. The Galena marble wall pattern, white countertops, and warm-yet-neutral cabinetry and flooring keep the gold from overpwering the space. Spring-patterned accessories bring in additional pops of color to tie the look together.

Spring Thyme:
Warm, pale green walls provide an anchoring tone for this fresh-eclectic kitchen mood board. Dark lower cabinets and light uppers give you the chance to use pattern in creative ways, from dining area rugs to checkered backsplashes. Keep accessories, like lighting and dishware, neutral to let these patterns take center stage.
May Flowers:
This mood board name says it all. Artwork, linens, and a fresh bouquet keep florals front and center in this design, where a warming lavender wall color adds a seasonal lift. Feel free to swap out your florals and accents with the season, as Lightning shower walls, chrome fixutres, and a simple white pedestal sink make the perfect backdrop for any color combination at any time of year.

Garden Party:
This rich, warm mood board takes florals in a different direction – toward the Southwest. A rich, coppery wall color sets a bold backdrop for neutral cabinetry and warm wood-toned flooring. The same peppery tone gets picked up in everything from wall art to runners to your favorite cookware, and gets a perfect complement in pops of blue. Add natural foliage for a fresh feel.
Rainy Day:
Shades of blue and gold give the fresh feeling of clouds parting after a spring rain in this beautiful design. Proving blue belongs in a warm spring color palette, the clean blue-gray wall color pairs beautifully with natural-toned wood cabinets and brushed nickel fixtures, while the flecked granite countertop ties it all together. Rattan accessories and soft linens complete the look.

Accessorizing Your Spring Mood Boards - And Making your Own
To develop your own spring mood board or tailor these to fit your style, start with the largest elements of your space – for example, cabinetry, flooring and countertops in the kitchen; shower walls, flooring, and vanities in the bathroom – and add in your paint color of choice. From there, it’s all about choosing the right accessories to tie your room together! Our designers pulled the main colors and fixtures from Improveit’s bath and kitchen accessory pages, and accessorized with help from Target, Lush, West Elm, The Sill, Ruggable, and Afloral to develop these designs.
When it’s time to give your space a real design overhaul, Improveit’s team of on-staff designers can help you choose everything from a shower wall pattern that will transcend the seasons to flooring and fixutres that make the space unique to you.
