The Flys have lived in their Central Tennessee home since 1999 and have made several improvements over the years, including adding a sunroom, updating the mechanical systems, replacing the windows, and refreshing the outdated bathroom. While Wesley says he wanted to “take a sledge hammer” to the old bathroom’s outdated pink tile years ago, the couple chose a different approach at the time.

“We had a company come in and fit a new bathtub and shower over the old one, and cover the rest of the pink tile,” Teresa says. The solution worked for a while, but the shower liner is now beginning to separate along the base of the shower – a common problem with liners, and the reason Improveit stopped selling them years ago.

 “When you step into the shower, you can hear a popping sound and feel that the glue underneath the bathtub liner is failing,” Wesley says. While the couple has had their previous installer fix this same problem in the past, it’s time for a more permanent solution.
