2012-13 Window and Door Tax Credits
Jan 07, 2013As part of the American Taxpayer Relief Act of 2012, energy-efficient windows and doors are tax-credit eligible again! The tax credit for windows is 10% of the purchase price up to $200, and for exterior doors the credit is 10% of the purchase price up to $500. Installation costs are not included. Only windows and exterior doors that meet ENERGY STAR ratings are eligible for the tax credit. Consult your tax advisor on how to take advantage of these incentives.
