Improveit! Noted for Enviornmental Actions

Home Remodeling was noted for saving 56 trees from destruction in 2008 through its office recycling program and has received a “Certificate of Environmental Accomplishment” from Shred-it®. This was the second consecutive year for Improveit! to receive the certificate from Shred-it, the world’s leading on-site document destruction company.
Improveit! provides home remodeling services such as attic insulation, windows and doors that are energy efficient and are eligible for the 30% ENERGY TAX CREDITS for homeowners. The TOTAL SMART HOME ENERGY EFFICIENT PACKAGE offers a wide array of services and products that provides for a healthy and energy efficient home.
In addition to the certificate, Improveit! participates in recycling programs that are also environmentally friendly. As a Columbus Ohio GreenSpot member, Improveit! is committed to programs that conserve energy and recycle its wastes. The GreenSpot program was launched by Mayor Michael Coleman in July of 2008 to promote environmental awareness in Columbus. In keeping with this commitment, Improveit! has a program to recycle scrap and debris for each home improvement job site.
