This is possible to do; it just involves making new and better choices and adjusting your habits and routines. Here are some tips to make some eco-friendly choices in your every day like that will help the environment.
¨ Buy items in bulk whenever possible. This helps reduce a lot of unnecessary packaging and usually will save you money.
¨ Reuse items such as cups, reusable bottles, food containers, cloth napkins and reusable shopping bags. This can also help you save money.
¨ Recycle your aluminum and steel cans, glass bottles and jars, #1 and #2 plastic bottles and jugs, newspapers, office paper, magazines, catalogs, phonebooks, paperboard and corrugated cardboard. ¨ Start your own compost pile. This is nature’s way of recycling your grass clippings, leaves, egg shells, vegetable trimmings, paper, banana peels, apple cores and coffee grounds just to name a few.
