The importance of having a safe, clean, well-built place to live has never been more clear than in the spring of 2020, when millions of Americans have spent tremendous amounts of time at home. At ImproveIt Home Remodeling, while we all consider what a “new normal” will look like for the rest of 2020 and beyond, we’re also putting our energy into thinking about how we can put our skills and expertise toward helping more families realize their homeownership dreams.
In May, we had just that opportunity. While most of our staff was working from home, our Columbus-based warehouse team took some time to gather a variety of materials for donation to our local Habitat for Humanity chapters. Altogether, the team collected more than $85,000 worth of bathtubs, shower doors, walls, and bases, bathroom vanities, shower and bathroom accessories, lighting, and more.
“It’s a natural fit for us to help an organization that builds homes for the joint communities we serve”
“We are thrilled to have the honor of donating a variety of building materials to Habitat for Humanity,” says ImproveIt President Seth Cammeyer. “As a remodeling leader for more than 30 years, it’s a natural fit for us to help an organization that builds homes for the joint communities we serve. We hope the donations are of benefit to Habitat and their families.”
