Bathroom Vanity Dimensions & Standard Vanity Sizes
Typical bathroom vanity dimensions fall within a range so you can choose a vanity that fits both your space and your functionality and accessibility needs. Standard vanity sizes include:
- Depth: 18 to 24 inches from the wall to the front of the vanity. A shallower vanity may be useful in a smaller bathroom.
- Height: 34 inches is generally considered a “comfort height” that is ergonomically ideal for most adults. Shorter 31-inch vanities are also common for those who prefer a lower height, or for use in a children’s bathroom.
- Widths: 24 to 72 inches (2 to 6 feet) are common widths for bathroom vanities. Within this range, wider vanities of 60 inches and above can accommodate a double sink, while narrower widths are better for single vanities.
Improveit’s standard vanity sizes feature a 21-inch depth, 31- or 34-inch heights, and 24- to 72-inch widths. Your design consultant can help you find the right combination to fit best in your bathroom. Additionally, vanities with widths as small as 15 inches are available as additional bathroom storage, but cannot accommodate a sink.
