Improveit has been attending home improvement shows and events for more than 30 years, and we love spending time in the community with our customers. 2025 Ohio State Fair

July 23-August 3

Ohio Expo Center & State Fairgrounds

Admission:

  • Adults: $12 
  • Kids age 6-12: $10
  • Seniors age 60+: $10
  • Children 5 and under: FREE!
  • Veterans, Military, and First Responders (public police, fire, and emergency services): FREE EVERY DAY with appropriate ID

Parking: $10

  • Fairgrounds Hours: 

    • Weekdays: 10am – 9pm
    • Weekends: 9am – 9pm
    • Sunday, 8/3: 9am – 6pm

    Ride hours are:

    • Weekdays: 11am – 11pm
    • Weekends: 10am – 11pm

Thursday 7/24:

  • Sensory-Friendly Morning:  10am-1pm
  • WOSU Kids Day: Meet PBS Kids characters from 10am – 5pm
  • $3 Thursday: All vendors will have a $3 menu item

Sunday 7/27:

  • Veterans & Military Day: Veterans and active-duty military are honored this day, and get FREE admission any day of the Fair with appropriate ID

Monday 7/28:

  • NBC4 Family Discount Day: Adult admission at the kids price, and kids 12 and under are FREE all day. All-day ride wristbands are $20 until 5pm.

Tuesday 7/29: 

  • Senior Day: Seniors ages 60 and over enjoy FREE admission all day.
  • Senior Day Concert: 80s cover band Sixteen Candles performs FREE at 1pm in the Celeste Center

Thursday 7/31:

  • College Student Day: College, post-secondary, and technical school students enjoy $10 admission with their student ID
  • $3 Thursday: All vendors will have a $3 menu item

Friday 8/1: 

  • Ronald McDonald House Charities Day: Bring an RMHC wish list item to the admission gate to receive a voucher for BOGO free admission before 6pm. See wish list items here.

  • Sunday 8/17: Military Sunday – Active military, veterans, and their families attend for FREE and enjoy 20% off Thrill Ville passes! Military ID required. Limit of 4 free admissions.
  • Monday 8/18: $5 Monday – Enjoy $5 admission at the gate. Includes parking! 
  • Tuesday 8/19: Senior Day – Fairgoers age 55+ enjoy FREE admission and special activities all day. Parking not included.
  • Wednesday 8/20: Sensory Awareness Day – From 10am through Noon, Thrill Ville will operate with minimal lights and music to create an enjoyable fair experience for those with sensory sensitivities.
