Why you should really care about Super Bowl Sunday

Posted on:

Whether you live for football or think Peyton Manning is the best forward the soccer community has seen in years, who cares? The best part about the first Sunday in February is not who wins or loses, or even the borderline- amazing commercials you will see. What really matters is that this is the first reason since the ball dropped to plan a party.

Let’s face it, we need this winter to end now. The weather has taken us from social butterfly status to ‘why can’t we all just be bears and sleep until Spring?’ The cold has gotten us down and out, but it’s time to put your party planning shoes back on and be with good friends, eating good food.

The friends part is out of our control (we’re sure each and every one of you has a slew of wonderful people in your lives, so get ’em on the phone!) but what we can help with is the good –no, great–food. Below are two amazing recipes thate take Super Bowl snacks to another level  and preparing them won’t stress you out– (the game will be stress enough).

Still sticking strong to a healthier 2014? Then the turkey meatballs are the way to go.
